In Vignale Monferrato

A wine tradition rooted in the past

Agostino Buzio, born in San Salvatore Monferrato in 1796, decided to buy the Cascina Dietro Castello in Vignale Monferrato, composed of a house with rustic agricultural and 30 hectares of land for vineyards and arable crops. Thus began the wine-making tradition of the Buzio family in Vignale Monferrato. In 1871, the property was divided between three sons: Felice, Domenico and Carlo. The part of Felice passed, after a few years, to his son Oreste, considered the founder of the family and our grandfather.

Thanks to its forward-looking management and its skills, the company specialized further in viticulture and winemaking, adopting cutting-edge practices and obtaining high quality wines. Since then, the company has remained in the ownership of the Buzio family and still applies today, following the family tradition, using the most modern techniques, while maintaining the original characteristics and continuity with the flavors of yesteryear.

Since 2001, we have entered into a biological control regime, trying to operate, as our habit, in the ecosystem where everything is synergy. The choice to adopt biological control was a natural evolution of our commitment to the environment and health. We are committed to cultivating our vineyards in full respect of nature, avoiding the use of harmful chemicals and promoting ecological balance. This approach allows us to produce high quality organic wines, which reflect the authenticity of the territory of Monferrato.
